I first worked with Paul back in the early 00's in Compaq, he worked in the offices whilst I worked on the shop floor, we used to affectionately refer to him as "two sugars", (always away gettting his gaffers tea) he didn't know that though!😅

Paul always had a smile on his face and would always take time when passing to have a yap, he was just that sort of guy.

Years later I sold him a Vauxhall Astra that served him well for a few years, anyone that knew Paul would have known he was a massive advocate of Scottish independence and we would bounce off each other on Facebook promoting the cause, Paul was one of those friends that you wouldn't see for years but would just pick up where we left off once we caught up.

In the 20 odd years of knowing him it was absolute honour to call him both colleague and friend!

Rest easy Paul!
